We took a turn off the highway near Panvel, passed rice fields, crossed small bridges, and rolled down our windows. The air changed. It smelled like earth, monsoon, and something we couldn’t describe — maybe peace?

We wandered into a forest, and at sunset, the fireflies lit up the trees — hundreds of them
There was no Wi-Fi, and surprisingly, we didn’t care
We sat by a bonfire that night, chai in hand, no need to speak — the silence was enough.
